This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have. It covers the brilliapp.com website, the Photostudio platform, and its companion mobile app Resource Portal (Android / iOS).

Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide our services:

• Account information: name, email address
• User content: tasks, comments, bookings and scheduling data you enter in the platform
• Google Calendar data: only if you choose to connect your Google account

This data is linked to your account identity so that you can see and manage your own content. We do not use your data for advertising or tracking, and we do not build user profiles for advertising purposes.

Google Calendar Data

If you connect your Google Calendar, we access the minimum data required to:

• Create events on your calendar
• Update or delete events you created through our platform
• Read availability for scheduling purposes

We do NOT:

• Access your emails
• Access calendars you do not explicitly grant permission for
• Share Google Calendar data with third parties

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve our scheduling, task and booking services
• To sync appointments with your Google Calendar
• To communicate with you about your account or bookings

Legal bases: performance of our service contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), your consent for optional integrations such as Google Calendar (Art. 6(1)(a)), and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Your data is processed by us and by our infrastructure providers (cloud hosting), which act solely as processors on our behalf and under our instructions. We disclose data to any other recipient only where required by law.

Data Security

We apply industry-standard security measures. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access to the platform requires authentication, and data is stored on secured infrastructure with restricted access.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for as long as required by tax or other applicable law. After account deletion, personal data is deleted or anonymised.

Your Rights (GDPR)

As a data subject you have the right to:

• Access your data and receive a copy of it
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Erasure (the "right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw your consent at any time

To exercise your rights, contact support@brilliapp.com. We respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

Your Choices

You may disconnect your Google Calendar at any time. When disconnected, we immediately stop accessing your Google data. You may also request deletion of your account.

Children

Our services are intended for professional use and are not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. The date at the top of this page shows the last update, and material changes are communicated in the app or by email.
